Daily Dividend Report: GOLD, TEL, EFX, UTX, CMP, WTU Monday, February 8, 4:37 PM ET
Randgold Resources Limited (NASDAQ:GOLD) announced a dividend of 17 cents per share, an increase of about 31% over its prior dividend in February of 13 cents. Strong demand for gold during the last year led to a huge jump in profits.
Despite the increase, shares of Randgold are down nearly two and a half percent on Monday.
In other dividend news, Tyco Electronics (NYSE:TEL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share. Equifax Incorporated (NYSE:EFX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 4 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX) announced its quarterly dividend of 42.5 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in November of 38.5 cents. Compass Minerals International Incorporated (NYSE:CMP) announced its quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in November of 35.5 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Williams Coal Seam Gas Realty T (NYSE:WTU) announced its quarterly dividend of 1.6972 cents per share, a decrease of about 23% from its prior dividend in November of 2.2 cents.
