Daily Dividend Report: YUM, UDR, DRI, MXF, NYMT Wednesday, September 30, 4:10 PM ET
Today, Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) declared its quarterly dividend of twenty one cents per share, amounting to an eleven percent increase over the prior dividend of nineteen cents. With the dividend, the company also announced it had authorized a $300 million share repurchase plan.
Shares of Yum! Brands were showing strong gains this afternoon, up more than three and a half percent.
In other dividend news, UDR Incorporated (NYSE:UDR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share. Darden Restaurants (NYSE:DRI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. And the Mexico Fund (NYSE:MXF) maintained its quarterly dividend of 42 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, New York Mortgage Trust (NASDAQ:NYMT) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend in June of 23 cents.
