Today's Big Gainers: Radioshack, Sprint Nextel Monday, November 9, 1:48 PM ET
On Friday, RadioShack (NYSE:RSH) announced that it will introduce Apple's iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in a limited number of company-owned stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth and New York City metropolitan areas beginning later this month. The company expects to introduce iPhone in stores nationwide in 2010.
Then, this morning, Credit Suisse raised their rating on RadioShack to Outperform from neutral, increasing their price target by $10 per share all the way up to $25.
In midday trading, Radioshack shares are up more than 13%.
On Sunday the Wall Street Journal reported that Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) may be investing $1 billion or more in Clearwire Corporation. Sprint is partnered with Comcast, Time Warner, Google and Bright House on Clearwire. According to the report, all the partners besides Google will also be making an additional investment into the partnership.
