Daily Dividend Report: FDO, KMB, XTO, CLX, RGLD Wednesday, November 18, 2:22 PM ET
This morning, Family Dollar Stores (NYSE:FDO) declared its quarterly dividend of 13.5 cents per share. With the dividend, the company also announced it had increased the size of its share repurchase agreement to $400 million.
Investors were encouraged by the news and sent shares higher by more than two and a half percent.
In other dividend news, Kimberly Clark (NYSE:KMB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 60 cents per share. XTO Energy (NYSE:XTO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents per share. And Clorox (NYSE:CLX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Royal Gold (NASDAQ:RGLD) announced its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share, an increase of about 12% over its prior dividend in September of 8 cents.
