Daily Dividend Report: CVC, RSG, HCP, PLD, EMR Tuesday, November 3, 2:53 PM ET
This morning, Cablevision Systems (NYSE:CVC) declared its quarterly dividend of ten cents per share. With the dividend, the company also announced earnings of thirty three cents per share, tripling the amount the company earned in the same quarter last year. Wall Street estimates were looking for earnings of twenty six cents per share, so investors welcomed the positive earnings news from the cable company.
Shares of Cablevision Systems were climbing in morning trading, up more than two percent.
In other dividend news, Republic Services (NYSE:RSG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 19 cents per share. HCP Incorporated (NYSE:HCP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 46 cents per share. And Prologis (NYSE:PLD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Emerson Electric (NYSE:EMR) announced its quarterly dividend of 33.5 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in August of 33 cents.
