Daily Dividend Report: CMCSA, CAH, ROK, PCL, ENB, EP Wednesday, November 4, 5:04 PM ET
This morning, Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) declared its quarterly dividend of 6.75 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid last quarter. With the dividend, the company also announced strong earnings for the third quarter as investment gains and a lower tax rate helped earnings. However, investors seemed focused on the company's proposed acquisition of NBC Universal and shares dipped lower in afternoon trading, off more than one and a half percent.
In other dividend news, Cardinal Health (NYSE:CAH) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share. Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share. And Plum Creek Timber (NYSE:PCL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 42 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Enbridge Incorporated (NYSE:ENB) announced its quarterly dividend of 37 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in August of 33.5 cents.
And Among dividend reductions, EL Paso Corporation (NYSE:EP) announced its quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share, a decrease of about 80% from its prior dividend in September of 5 cents.
