Daily Dividend Report: WYNN, EFX, TIN, RAIL, TSO Monday, November 9, 4:01 PM ET
This morning, Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) announced a special cash dividend of $4.00 per share. With the special dividend, the company also announced it would resume its quarterly cash dividend in 2010, starting at twenty cents per share, per quarter.
Investors responded well to the announcement, as shares of Wynn Resorts climbed in afternoon trading, up over five and three quarter percent.
In other dividend news, Equifax (NYSE:EFX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 4 cents per share. Temple Inland (NYSE:TIN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share. And Freightcar America (NASDAQ:RAIL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share.
Among dividend reductions, Tesoro (NYSE:TSO) announced its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share, a decrease of about 50% from its prior dividend in August of 10 cents.
