Daily Dividend Report: SBLK, GPC, RWT, LANC, ESEA Monday, November 16, 4:18 PM ET
This morning, Star Bulk Carriers (NASDAQ:SBLK) declared its second consecutive quarterly dividend of five cents per share. The company was forced to suspend its dividend in February of this year as certain debt covenants were breached during the height of the credit crisis. Based on the current dividend amount, investors can expect a yield of about five and a half percent.
In afternoon trading, shares of Star Bulk were trading higher by more than three percent so far.
In other dividend news, Genuine Parts (NYSE:GPC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share. Redwood Trust (NYSE:RWT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Lancaster Colony (NASDAQ:LANC) announced its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in September of 28.5 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Euroseas Limited (NASDAQ:ESEA) announced its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share, a decrease of about 50% from its prior dividend in August of 10 cents.
