Daily Dividend Report: DPS, HPQ, HD, UNP, FDX Friday, November 20, 2:11 PM ET
This morning, Dr. Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS) declared its first-ever quarterly dividend of fifteen cents per share. With the dividend, the company also announced it had authorized the repurchase of $200 million worth of common stock as a means of boosting shareholder value.
In afternoon trading, shares of Dr. Pepper Snapple climbed by more than two percent as investors cheered on the positive news.
In other dividend news, Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) maintained its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share. Home Depot (NYSE:HD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share. Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share. And FedEx (NYSE:FDX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 11 cents per share.
