Ballmer: IT Spending May Not Recover Monday, November 2, 11:03 AM ET
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told a meeting of executives in Seoul, South Korean that he does not expect corporate information technology spending levels to recover to pre-recession levels.
Ballmer reportedly said IT spending will see growth, but not recovery to the pre-slowdown days, when IT accounted for half of capital expenditures by businesses.
Ballmer was in South Korea to promote the new Windows 7 operating system.
