Upgrades: Canadian Solar, Terra Industries Tuesday, November 3, 11:43 AM ET
This morning, Barclays Capital upgraded shares of Canadian Solar (NASDAQ:CSIQ) from Underweight to Equal Weight as the firm has grown more bullish on the near term fundamentals. Analysts at the firm raised both 2009 and 2010 EPS estimates and set a new price target of $16 per share.
Shares of Canadian Solar jumped on the upgrade, gaining almost nine percent so far this morning.
And BMO Capital raised its rating on Terra Industries (TRA) after CF Industries increased its offer to buy the company this morning. The firm upgraded shares from Market Perform to Outperfom as CF has increased its offer to $40.50 per share.
In morning trading, shares of Terra Industries were trading higher, up almost two percent.
