XLF, UKK: Big ETF Outflows

Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLF), which shed 16,450,000 shares, or a 3.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) is up about 1.2%, and JP Morgan Chase & Company (NYSE:JPM) is up by about 1.8%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Ultra Russell2000 Growth (AMEX:UKK), which lost 150,000 of its shares, for a whopping 33.3% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of UKK, in morning trading today 1 800 FLOWERS.COM (NASDAQ:FLWS) is up about 2.6%, and 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) is up by about 2%.
