Monday's ETF with Unusual Volume: XPH

The SPDR S&P Pharmaceuticals ETF (AMEX:XPH) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 1.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 92,000. Shares of XPH were down about 0.6% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), trading up about 0.4% with over 11.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), down about 0.7% on volume of over 4.7 million shares. Questcor Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:QCOR) is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 4% on the day, while Warner Chilcott Plc Ord Ire (NASDAQ:WCRX) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Pharmaceuticals ETF, trading lower by about 3.3%.
