XLV, BIS: Big ETF Outflows
Monday, June 11, 1:28 PM ET

Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLV), which shed 6,300,000 shares, or a 5.3% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLV, in morning trading today Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is off about 0.5%, and Pfizer Incorporated (NYSE:PFE) is higher by about 0.2%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares UltraShort Nasdaq Biotechnology (NASDAQ:BIS), which lost 50,000 of its shares, for a whopping 25.0% decline in outstanding shares.
