VXF, UWM: Big ETF Outflows Monday, December 10, 12:58 PM ET
Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Vanguard Extended Market ETF (AMEX:VXF), which shed 1,800,001 shares, or a 7.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VXF, in morning trading today General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) is up about 0.1%, and Las Vegas Sands Corporation (NYSE:LVS) is higher by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Ultra Russell2000 (AMEX:UWM), which lost 750,000 of its shares, for a whopping 20.4% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of UWM, in morning trading today 1 800 FLOWERS.COM (NASDAQ:FLWS) is up about 2.1%, and 1st United Bancorp (NASDAQ:FUBC) is up by about 0.9%.
