Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD) makes up 23.68% of the Biotech HOLDRS (AMEX:BBH) ETF. The Biotech HOLDRS has a market capitalization of over $777.3 million, meaning that over $184 million of that market cap is tied to Gilead Sciences.
According to ETFChannel.com, there are 63 ETFs that hold Gilead Sciences, and aggregately, those ETFs make up 4.29% of Gilead's total market cap. Other ETFs with large holdings include PowerShares QQQ (QQQQ) with about $359.5 million of Gilead, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (AMEX:SPY) with $230.35 million and the iShares Nassdaq Biotechnology Index Fund (NASDAQ:IBB) at $79.2 million.
