The PowerShares Global Biotech Portfolio (PBTQ) has a market value of only $3.7 million, but this tiny ETF is up nearly 17% over the last three months.
The underlying index is designed to measure the overall performance of globally traded securities of the largest and most liquid companies involved in the biotechnology industry.
Top holdings include Celgene (NASDAQ:CELG), up 13.4% over the last three months, Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD), higher by about 4% over the period, CSL, Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN), higher by 4.75%, and Genzyme (NASDAQ:GENZ) up 39.5% over the three months.
