Technology ETFs May Benefit From IBM, Apple Results

Technology ETFs, already higher on strong results from Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) last week, might be set up for another strong week. Both IBM (NYSE:IBM) and Apple (AAPL) are due to report Monday after the bell.
Investors looking to bet on strong quartly results from Apple should look towards the PowerShares QQQ (QQQQ), with almost 21% of its tech holdings in Apple. However, QQQ does not have any IBM holdings.
The 500 S&P Index Fund (VFINX) is the largest holder of IBM shares. The SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (AMEX:DIA) has IBM as its top holding, with 9.76% of its assets in the company.
Meanwhile, the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Technology ETF (AMEX:IYW) holds nearly 13.7% of its assets in Apple, and 8.75% in IBM.
