Anadarko, Corning and Baker Hughes Earnings - ETFs on the Move

Keep an eye on the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Index Fund (AMEX:IEO) today. Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE:APC) is one of the top holdings of this ETF at about 7.8% of the ETF's holdings.
Anadarko is reporting Q3 earnings today. Another ETF to keep in focus is the Broadband HOLDRS (BDH), which has about 13% in Corning (NYSE:GLW) which just posted earnings. Earnings per share were $0.50. Excluding special items, earnings were $0.51, a 12% sequential decline, but 21% increase year over year. According to MarketWatch, Corning was estimated to report a profit of $0.52 in the quarter.
The Oil Services HOLDRS (AMEX:OIH) counts Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI) as one of its largest holdings at about 12.5% of the ETF. Baker Hughes reported this morning as well. Net income came in at 0.59 cents, handily beating expectations.
