Boeing (NYSE:BA) shares are among the biggest decliners on the Dow Jones Industrial Average today, on reports that the company has told 787 Dreamliner customers that deliveries of the jet will now be delayed as long as an additional 10 months.
Boeing shares are down 1.5% Monday.
Boeing is the #2 stock in the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Aerospace & Defense Index Fund (AMEX:ITA), with 7.5% of the portfolio, behind United Technologies (NYSE:UTX), at 8.73% of the fund. The fund is trading donw 0.75% Monday.
Boeing is also the #2 stock in the Aerospace & Defense Portfolio (AMEX:PPA), at 6.92% of the fund, which is trading down 0.6%. Honeywell (NYSE:HON) is just slightly more of the portfolio, at 6.95% of the total.
