Bob Evans Farms (NASDAQ:BOBE), operator of Bob Evans Restaurants and Mimi’s Cafe, posted second-quarter earning after the bell yesterday of $7.8 million, or $0.26 per share, compared to $15.5 million, or $0.50 per share, in the same quarter last year. Sales fell 1.8% compared to the same quarter last year, to $417 million. However, with the depressed earnings, the company hiked its operating income guidance for the full 2011 fiscal year, to $108-$112 million.
On the ETF front, Bob Evans is a 2.67% holding of the Dynamic Leisure and Entertainment Portfolio (AMEX:PEJ). Other top stocks in the fund include Carnival (NYSE:CCL) at 5.68% of the portfolio, followed by Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) at 5.6% and Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) at 5.48%.
