CVR Energy (NYSE:CVI) shares are falling today after the company announced the pricing of a secondary public offering. The company said certain stockholders are offering 18 million shares of common stock at $10.75 per share in a registered underwritten secondary public offering. Selling stockholders include affiliates of Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) and Kelso & Company. The company noted it does not benefit from the offering.
CVR Energy shares are trading lower by 3.4% on Friday.
The stock is a minor holding holding of the WisdomTree Small Cap Earnings Fund (AMEX:EES). Top stocks in the fund include MBIA (NYSE:MBI), at 3.35% of the total, followed by First Financial Bancorp (NASDAQ:FFBC), at 1.42%, Innophos Holdings (NASDAQ:IPHS), at 1.01%, Clearwater Paper (NYSE:CLW), at 0.99%, and Buckeye Technologies (NYSE:BKI), at 0.98% of the portfolio, round out the top five holdings.
