FBR Capital (FBCM) added Overseas Shipholding (NYSE:OSG) to its Top Picks list today. The firm said the stock is its top pick in the shipping sector due to its strong defensive posture, amid downward pressure on rates. FBR maintained its outperform rating on the stock, with a $58 price target.
At 4.3% of the fund, Overseas Shipping is a top holding of the Guggenheim Shipping ETF (AMEX:SEA). Teekay Shipping (NYSE:TK) is the top stock in the portfolio, trading 4.73% today, followed by Ship Finance International (NYSE:SFL) at 4.45%.
Teekay LNG Partners (NYSE:TGP) at 4.11% of the fund, and DryShips (NASDAQ:DRYS) at 3.05%.
