General Motors increased the asking price of its initial public offering today, to $32-$33 per share.
GM had previously been asking for $26-$29 per share for the 365 million share offering.
The offering, scheduled for tomorrow, would be the second-largest IPO in U.S. history after Visa (NYSE:V) in 2008.
Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) shares are trading up 1% in premarket in reaction to the General Motors news, an indication of investor appetite for U.S. auto stocks.
Ford, at 6.76%, is the top stock in the Active Mega Cap Fund (AMEX:PMA).
Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is the #2 stock in the fund, at 5.66%, followed by IBM (NYSE:IBM), ConocoPhillips (COP) and Microsoft (MSFT).
