JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) cut its outlook on Boeing (NYSE:BA) today, saying it expects the 787 Dreamliner to be delayed by another six months. The firm’s 2011 profits forecast was cut by $0.30 per share, to $4.35 in the report. JPMorgan noted it sees the issues facing the long-delayed Dreamliner as fixable, but Boeing shares are trading lower by about 1% on the news.
At 7.16% of the portfolio, Boeing it’s the second-largest holding in the iShares Dow Jones Aerospace & Defense Index Fund (AMEX:ITA). United Technologies (NYSE:UTX) is the top stock, at 8.86% of the portfolio followed by General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) and Precision Castparts (NYSE:PCP).
