Kraft Trades Higher Ahead of Earnings, Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund Gains

Kraft Foods (NYSE:KFT) shares are trading higher today, up 1.2%, in advance of the company’s third quarter earnings announcement this afternoon after the closing bell.
Kraft is in the top five holdings of the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLP), at 4.75% of the total holdings. The fund is trading higher today by 1.1%, with Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG), Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), Philip Morris International (NYSE:PM) and Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) rounding out its top holdings.
