U.S. stocks are tumbling on concerns of strife on the Korean Peninsula, as North Korea fired artillery rounds at a South Korea Island, and soldiers there fired back. Two South Korean soldiers were killed.
Concerns are weighing on Korean stocks as well.
The iShares MSCI South Korea Index Fund (EWY) is trading lower by 5.5% Tuesday.
Of the holdings in the fund that are also listed in the U.S., Posco (NYSE:PKX) is 5.61% of the fund, Shinhan Financial Group (NYSE:SHG) is 3.23%, KB Financial Group (NYSE:KB) is 3.02% of the holdings, and LG Display Co. (NYSE:LDL) is 1.65%.
