Superior Energy Services (NYSE:SPN) was upgraded from equalweight to overweight by Barclays Capital (NYSE:BCS) as the firm sees potential for the company to benefit from international expansion and strong conditions in the U.S. land market. With the upgrade, Barclays hikes its price target on Super Energy Services from $28 to $39 per share.
At 4.6% of the portfolio, Superior Energy Services is the second-largest holding of the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Equipment & Services ETF (AMEX:XES). National Oilwell Varco (NYSE:NOV) is the top stock in the fund, at 5% of the portfolio with McDermott International (NYSE:MDR) and Oceaneering International (NYSE:OII) rounding out the top four positions.
