Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) earned 98.7 billion yen in the second quarter, up 352% from the same year-ago period.
Shares of Toyota are trading higher in the premarket.
The PowerShares BLDRS Asia 50 ADR Index Fund (NASDAQ:ADRA) holds more than 8.5% of its portfolio in TM stock, with BHP Billiton (NYSE:BHP) as its only larger holding. The Vanguard Pacific ETF (AMEX:VPL) is about 4% Toyota with their largest holding being Mitsui & Company (MITSY).
