Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP) raised its dividend for the second time this year. The railroad said it is hiking its quarterly dividend 15%, to $0.38 per share. The dividend is payable on January 3 to shareholders of record as of November 30.
The news has UNP shares trading higher by nearly 2% today.
According to the ETF Finder, UNP accounts for 10.34% of the iShares Dow Jones Transportation Average Index Fund (AMEX:IYT). FedEx (NYSE:FDX) is the second-largest holding, at 10.06%, followed buy C.H. Robinson Worldwide (NASDAQ:CHRW) at 8.19%. UPS (NYSE:UPS) and CSX (NYSE:CSX) round out the top five holdings.
