Shares of Zale Corporation (NYSE:ZLC) are higher following an annoucement that Zale same store sales increased 8.5 percent during November-December 2010 period due to higher diamond demand. During November-December 2009, same store sales dropped 12 percent. Zale has replaced its CEO during the last year, as well as the heads of stores and merchandising. Zales has lost more than $280 million during the past two years.
Shares are higher by over 42 percent.
H.B. Fuller (NYSE:FUL) shares are surging today after the company reported earnings of $0.44 per share, beating analyst expectations of $0.40 per share. The company also raised guidance, expecting a full-year profit of $1.75 to $1.85 per share with revenue growth between 8% and 10%. This is higher than the average analyst estimate of $1.70 earnings per share with a a 6% revenue incrase.
