Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the PowerShares QQQ (NASDAQ:QQQ), which shed 7,450,000 shares, or a 1.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of QQQ, in morning trading today AMAZON.COM Incorporated (NASDAQ:AMZN) is off about 0.7%, and Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) is higher by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the SPDR S&P International Consumer Discretionary Sector ETF (AMEX:IPD), which lost 150,000 of its shares, for a 20.0% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of IPD, in morning trading today Thomson Reuters Corporation (TSE:TRI.CA) is off about 0.1%, and Magna Intl INC. (TSE:MG.CA) is lower by about 0.5%.
