Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLI), which added 13,100,000 shares, or a 13.2% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLI, in morning trading today General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) is up about 0.2%, and United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX) is higher by about 0.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (AMEX:XRT), which added 2,550,000 shares, for a 26.3% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of XRT, in morning trading today Supervalu Incorporated (NYSE:SVU) is up about 0.5%, and Shutterfly Incorporated (NASDAQ:SFLY) is lower by about 2.5%.
