In trading on Thursday, shares of BP (NYSE:BP) crossed below their 200 day moving average of $43.11, changing hands as low as $43.00 per share. BP shares are currently trading off about 1.4% on the day. The chart below shows the one year performance of BP shares, versus its 200 day moving average:
Looking at the chart above, BP's low point in its 52 week range is $26.75 per share, with $49.51 as the 52 week high point — that compares with a last trade of $43.32.
According to the ETF Finder at ETF Channel, BP makes up 6.37% of the Vanguard MSCI Europe ETF (AMEX:VGK) which is trading lower by about 0.4% on the day Thursday.
