Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLF), which shed 25,400,000 shares, or a 5.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today JP Morgan Chase & Company (NYSE:JPM) is down about 1.6%, and Wells Fargo & Company New (NYSE:WFC) is lower by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Global Steel Portfolio (NASDAQ:PSTL), which lost 100,000 of its shares, for a 28.6% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of PSTL, in morning trading today Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) is off about 1.3%, and Cliffs Natural Resources Incorporated (NYSE:CLF) is higher by about 0.1%.
