In trading on Wednesday, shares of General Motors Co. (NYSE:GM) crossed below their 200 day moving average of $28.47, changing hands as low as $28.20 per share. General Motors Co. shares are currently trading down about 2.5% on the day. The chart below shows the one year performance of GM shares, versus its 200 day moving average:
Looking at the chart above, GM's low point in its 52 week range is $28.17 per share, with $39.48 as the 52 week high point — that compares with a last trade of $28.35.
According to the ETF Finder at ETF Channel, GM makes up 7.82% of the First Trust US IPO Index Fund ETF (AMEX:FPX) which is trading lower by about 1.4% on the day Wednesday.
