On Thursday, El Paso Electric (NYSE:EE) declared its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.6% going forward.
Shares of EE were modestly higher on the news, picking up 0.3% so far.
In other dividend news, Columbia Sportswear (NASDAQ:COLM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share. American National Insurance Company (NASDAQ:ANAT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 77 cents per share. The Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE:RGC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share. And Tellabs (TLAB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 2 cents per share.
