In trading on Monday, the First Trust ISE Global Wind Energy Index Fund ETF (AMEX:FAN) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Nrg Energy (NYSE:NRG), up about 2.6% and shares of BP Plc (NYSE:BP), up about 1.6% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Active Mega Cap Fund ETF (AMEX:PMA), off about 2.5% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Kroger (NYSE:KR), lower by about 1.4%, and shares of Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ), lower by about 1.3% on the day.
