In trading on Monday, cigarettes & tobacco shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 6.5%. Leading the group were shares of Star Scientific (CIGX), up about 37.6% and shares of Alliance One International (NYSE:AOI) up about 4.7% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are agriculture & farm products shares, up on the day by about 6.3% as a group, led by Origin Agritech Limited (NASDAQ:SEED), trading higher by about 14.6% and Cresud (NASDAQ:CRESY), trading higher by about 3.8% on Monday.
