In trading on Tuesday, precious metals shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.1%. Leading the group were shares of Richmont Mines (AMEX:RIC), up about 12.3% and shares of Great Panther Silver Limited (AMEX:GPL) up about 7.5% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are shipping shares, up on the day by about 1.6% as a group, led by Frontline Limited (NYSE:FRO), trading higher by about 12.5% and Excel Maritime Carriers (EXM), trading up by about 12.1% on Tuesday.
