In trading on Wednesday, shares of Goldcorp Inc (NYSE:GG) crossed above their 200 day moving average of $48.59, changing hands as high as $48.81 per share. Goldcorp Inc shares are currently trading down about 0.2% on the day. The chart below shows the one year performance of GG shares, versus its 200 day moving average:
Looking at the chart above, GG's low point in its 52 week range is $39.04 per share, with $56.31 as the 52 week high point — that compares with a last trade of $47.35.
According to the ETF Finder at ETF Channel, GG makes up 13.43% of the Gold Miners ETF (AMEX:GDX) which is trading lower by about 1.1% on the day Wednesday.
