In trading on Thursday, shares of The Gap, Inc. (NYSE:GPS) crossed above their 200 day moving average of $19.50, changing hands as high as $19.53 per share. The Gap, Inc. shares are currently trading up about 2.4% on the day. The chart below shows the one year performance of GPS shares, versus its 200 day moving average:
Looking at the chart above, GPS's low point in its 52 week range is $15.08 per share, with $23.73 as the 52 week high point — that compares with a last trade of $19.09.
