Notable Wednesday Option Activity: HRB, PBF, OTRK

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in H & R Block, Inc. (NYSE:HRB), where a total of 22,517 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 2.3 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 80.3% of HRB's average daily trading volume over the past month of 2.8 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $17 strike call option expiring April 16, 2021, with 4,756 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 475,600 underlying shares of HRB. PBF Energy Inc (NYSE:PBF) options are showing a volume of 47,194 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 4.7 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 75.3% of PBF's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 6.3 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $11 strike call option expiring February 19, 2021, with 22,668 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 2.3 million underlying shares of PBF.
