Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Teladoc Health Inc (NYSE:TDOC), where a total of 21,689 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 2.2 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 70.3% of TDOC's average daily trading volume over the past month of 3.1 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $250 strike call option expiring January 22, 2021, with 2,904 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 290,400 underlying shares of TDOC. JetBlue Airways Corp (NASDAQ:JBLU) options are showing a volume of 59,032 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 5.9 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 69.1% of JBLU's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 8.5 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $16 strike call option expiring February 19, 2021, with 42,636 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 4.3 million underlying shares of JBLU.
