Noteworthy Friday Option Activity: AT, CEVA, PINS

Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Atlantic Power Corp (AT), where a total volume of 4,197 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 419,700 underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 76.4% of AT's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 549,480 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $2.50 strike call option expiring January 15, 2021, with 1,548 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 154,800 underlying shares of AT. Ceva Inc (NASDAQ:CEVA) saw options trading volume of 1,718 contracts, representing approximately 171,800 underlying shares or approximately 76.1% of CEVA's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 225,810 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $65 strike call option expiring June 18, 2021, with 316 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 31,600 underlying shares of CEVA. And Pinterest Inc (NYSE:PINS) options are showing a volume of 69,777 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 7.0 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 75.2% of PINS's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 9.3 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $90 strike call option expiring February 19, 2021, with 3,160 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 316,000 underlying shares of PINS.
