Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Funko Inc (NASDAQ:FNKO), where a total of 52,133 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 5.2 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 467.9% of FNKO's average daily trading volume over the past month of 1.1 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $20 strike call option expiring April 16, 2021, with 16,125 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.6 million underlying shares of FNKO. Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) options are showing a volume of 134,342 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 13.4 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 343.4% of NFLX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 3.9 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $540 strike call option expiring March 26, 2021, with 16,319 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.6 million underlying shares of NFLX. And AAR Corp (NYSE:AIR) options are showing a volume of 8,710 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 871,000 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 329.2% of AIR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 264,575 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $45 strike call option expiring May 21, 2021, with 2,039 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 203,900 underlying shares of AIR.
