Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in CryoLife, Inc. (CRY), where a total of 2,449 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 244,900 underlying shares. That amounts to about 197.6% of CRY's average daily trading volume over the past month of 123,945 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike call option expiring May 21, 2021, with 888 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 88,800 underlying shares of CRY. Ribbon Communications Inc (NASDAQ:RBBN) options are showing a volume of 9,136 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 913,600 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 193.9% of RBBN's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 471,115 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $10 strike put option expiring July 16, 2021, with 5,712 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 571,200 underlying shares of RBBN.
