Noteworthy Friday Option Activity: CNST, DE, PENN

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Constellation Pharmaceuticals Inc (CNST), where a total of 2,010 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 201,000 underlying shares. That amounts to about 44.6% of CNST's average daily trading volume over the past month of 451,025 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $20 strike put option expiring May 21, 2021, with 2,000 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 200,000 underlying shares of CNST. Deere & Co. (NYSE:DE) options are showing a volume of 7,245 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 724,500 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 44.3% of DE's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.6 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $370 strike call option expiring April 16, 2021, with 862 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 86,200 underlying shares of DE. And Penn National Gaming Inc (NASDAQ:PENN) saw options trading volume of 27,373 contracts, representing approximately 2.7 million underlying shares or approximately 44.3% of PENN's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 6.2 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $100 strike put option expiring April 16, 2021, with 2,005 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 200,500 underlying shares of PENN.
