Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in FireEye Inc (FEYE), where a total volume of 18,503 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 1.9 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 52.7% of FEYE's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 3.5 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $21 strike call option expiring April 30, 2021, with 1,590 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 159,000 underlying shares of FEYE. Duluth Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:DLTH) saw options trading volume of 984 contracts, representing approximately 98,400 underlying shares or approximately 52.2% of DLTH's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 188,460 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $20 strike call option expiring May 21, 2021, with 365 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 36,500 underlying shares of DLTH.
