Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Oppenheimer Holdings Inc Class A (D (NYSE:OPY), where a total of 1,662 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 166,200 underlying shares. That amounts to about 135.9% of OPY's average daily trading volume over the past month of 122,260 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $45 strike call option expiring April 16, 2021, with 395 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 39,500 underlying shares of OPY. Ceva Inc (NASDAQ:CEVA) saw options trading volume of 2,748 contracts, representing approximately 274,800 underlying shares or approximately 132.9% of CEVA's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 206,815 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $50 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 737 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 73,700 underlying shares of CEVA.
